Deconstruction & Salvage Training
Deconstruction trainee positions will teach you trade skills, tool handling, safety procedures and employer expectations quickly. After three to six months of intensive instruction, you will emerge with a solid understanding of basic construction techniques and the qualifications you need for entry-level placement in the construction industry.
To get involved in deconstruction training, you must be accepted into the Careers Under Construction (CUC) program, a partnership between
Work Resource Center
(WRC), the Greater Cincinnati Leadership Council and Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce. Through the program, WRC screens minority candidates and other disadvantaged individuals for placement in the construction industry. In addition to on-site training, the program offers weekly support groups and job retention counseling. For more information on CUC, click here.
