Deconstruction & Salvage Services

What is deconstruction?

Building Value offers deconstruction services, which is the manual removal of materials from a building before it is demolished or rebuilt. Deconstruction is an exact process and offers many benefits:

  • you are diverting materials from the landfill,
  • you save money by a tax-deduction and lower landfill disposal fees when you donate those materials
  • you can salvage quality architectural antiques, and
  • you give job training opportunities for Easter Seals WRC participants - they learn valuable construction skills.

Hire Building Value to help with your next remodeling job and you'll help save the local environment and give back to the community.

Expert Service
Building Value deconstruction and salvage services can reduce your project costs. A knowledgeable construction manager supervises a deconstruction team to ensure that you receive top-notch service.

Trainees are qualified to remove salvageable kitchen and bathroom cabinets, countertops, doors, hardwood moldings, plumbing fixtures and other non-structural building materials. Salvaged materials are then resold in the Building Value Re-use Center, a retail store open to the public.

Competitive Prices

Our prices are affordable and much less than most contractors. Crews travel within a 50-mile radius of Cincinnati to complete projects.

Services are available Monday through Friday. For a project estimate or to schedule a crew for your next project, contact the deconstruction manager at 513.475.6783.
