Retail Assistant
We can put your creativity to use in the Building Value retail outlet. As a Retail Assistant, you’ll help staff set up displays, stock shelves, and assist customers in getting purchases to their vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Retail or design experience
- An eye for displaying merchandise aesthetically
- Interest in recycling, the environment, or related area
- Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
Mentor
Your knowledge of construction can make a big difference at Building Value. As a Mentor, you’ll guide participants in learning new skills, answer customer questions about construction, and help customers get purchases to their vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction or a related field
- Desire to serve as a role model and mentor
- Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
Building Value volunteers have a tangible impact on the environment, historic preservation, the affordability of remodeling, and the quality of the local workforce. That’s a lot of value for a few hours a week!
